About the Project
Two eight-unit apartment buildings will provide homes for about 50 people on Crossley Court. Together, the two buildings will have: 11 one-bedroom apartments; three two-bedroom apartments; and two three-bedroom apartments.
Each apartment will have a patio or balcony and its own private entrance. They will include energy-efficient appliances and heat pumps, keeping apartments warm in winter and cool in summer.
Two apartments will be fully accessible. The design is adaptable so other apartments can be made accessible, if needed.
Location and Community
The Crossley Court apartments will be on the cul-de-sac, close to seniors’ and other public housing.

What’s Next
Nova Scotia-based company, Iron Maple Constructors, has been awarded the contract to finalize designs and build the two apartment buildings.
The company will start work on finalizing designs now. Work is expected to begin on site this fall.
